Dr. Mohanty has
a broad-based experience with
coal mining and processing industry as well
as university research and teaching.
Dr. Mohanty's industry experience
includes over five years in underground
coalmine management and one and
a half-year in a process equipment
company in the U.S. and several short visits
to many coal preparation plants
located in Eastern and Midwestern
US. His significant research
involvement has enabled him to
publish over fourty papers
in reputable international journals,
conference proceedings and a book.
Dr. Mohanty's teaching and research
interests include coal and mineral processing,
fine coal processing, dewatering; aggregate mining and processing.
