College of Engineering Freshman Scholarships

The College of Engineering at SIUC offers attractive scholarships for entering freshmen. These Scholarships range from $500 to $3000. Application for these scholarships is simple and includes three steps:

1. Complete the scholarship application form.
2. Obtain your high school counselor's signature and verification.
3. Mail completed form to:

Early application is encouraged and can be made upon completion of the sixth semester in high school. Selection of scholarship recipients is generally determined by the level of competition for each award category. All awardees must apply, be admitted, and enrolled as a new freshmen in an undergraduate degree program in the College of Engineering at SIUC. Awardees are notified by mail, starting in the fall until all funds have been awarded.

Additional scholarship money may be available in subsequent years through the College of Engineering based upon grade point average and major.

SIUC Freshman Scholarships

Various SIUC Freshman scholarships are available depending on qualifications. No additional application is required to apply for these scholarships. Students will be automatically considered for these awards when admitted to SIUC.

Dean's Scholarship	$3000/year for 2 years
Provost's Scholarship	$4000/year for 2 years
Chancellor's Scholarship	pays tuition and fees for 4 years
Presidential Scholarship	pays tuition, fees, room & board for 4 years
Merit Finalist Award	$3000/year for 4 years
Valedictorian/salutatorian Award	First year only award ($1000-$1500)
