Dr. Feng-Chang Roger Chang received a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Tunghai University, Taiwan, and a MS and a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Chang joined SIUC in 1991. His previous administrative experiences in the Technology Department include serving as the Graduate Director of the Manufacturing Systems Program (1998-1999), the Interim Chair of the department (2004-2005), and the Chair of the department (2005-2007)

Dr. Chang’s primary interests of teaching and research are lean manufacturing, six sigma, production and service scheduling, computer simulation, and supply chain management. He is a member of Society on Manufacturing Engineers (SME), National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT), Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Tau Phi.
